The Protech Group (Montreal, Quebec, Canada) announced that it has acquired the industrial coatings business and assets of Caldwell Chemical Coatings of Fayetteville, Tennessee, USA. Financial terms were not immediately disclosed.

Caldwell is described as a well-recognized name in liquid industrial coatings and has been providing quality specialty products and service to its clients for many years.

“We are looking forward to joining the Protech family to grow the liquid business together,” says Rob Caldwell, principle at Caldwell. “We are excited about the products and capabilities that Protech can offer our long-standing customers.”

Protech says it fully expects to benefit from the excellent business relationships that Caldwell has developed over many years with its customers, and manufacturing operations in Fayetteville will be maintained. Current customers of Caldwell can still obtain the products they are currently purchasing and, as well, will now have access to Protech’s worldwide network of products and technology.

“We are thrilled to welcome the talented management and employees at Caldwell to the Protech family,” says David Ades, president of the Protech Group. “We share common values and a commitment to provide excellence in quality and service to our customers.”
