Winoa-2Effe Pvt Ltd, a joint venture between steel abrasives manufacturer Winoa (Le Cheylas, France) and engineering consultant 2Effe Engineering (Brescia, Italy), announced the opening of its first dedicated shot-peening facility in India. This brand-new infrastructure is strategically located in Pune, the heart of India’s premier automotive manufacturing cluster.
After one year of construction, this new, 15,000-square-foot (1,394 m2) facility has started operating with state-of-the-art technologies to deliver shot-peening media and services. Present in India for more than 30 years, Winoa confirms its world leadership position by making a strong local investment, based on the trust of key clients and the growth of the Indian market.
Key initiatives of the venture include the following:
