The Master Painters Institute (MPI) is launching its newest solutions to streamline the process of specifying coatings.

The MPI Decision Tree Tools platform offers a digital interactive guide, which prompts users to select the most suitable coatings system and products for their commercial and architectural projects. These can be applied to both new construction and restorative/repair works.

These tools are designed to encompass all project variables while significantly reducing the manual effort needed to meet and select the appropriate coatings system.

Why Use the MPI Decision Tree Tools?

Potential benefits include these factors and more:

  • Save money: The system streamlines product selection to quickly identify the right options for a project, thereby minimizing the risk of costly coatings failures.
  • Saves time: The platform guides users through the decision-making process, which eliminates the need to sift through extensive source materials or memorize system details.
  • Reduces risk: The system increases the likelihood of selecting the appropriate system, products, and surface preparation techniques.

Potential users can see these tools in action in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA, by visiting the MPI Booth #1454 in the Exhibit Hall at the 2024 AMPP Annual Conference + Expo. While there, viewers can see a live demonstration and enter to win a drawing.

The demonstration will show how the platform aims to simplify the process of creating customized coatings specifications, both for restoration repainting and architectural painting projects.

At the MPI store, tools will be available for individual purchase starting April 2, 2024.
