In an emailed press release, WALTER Surface Technologies (Windsor, Connecticut, USA) has appointed Jean-Marie Maayoufi as safety sales director of its safety division, leading sales for the Allegro Industries brand. According to WALTER, this appointment will further the company’s quest to become a global leader for productivity and safety solutions in the metalworking industry. This promotion is effective immediately.
In his new role as safety sales director, Maayoufi will lead Allegro’s safety specialists in North America towards growth. He will work closely with both the WALTER and Allegro sales teams as WALTER continues its mission to promote the Allegro brand across North America. Maayoufi will support sales teams through enhanced training and marketing programs, in addition to continuing to help customers work better by keeping them safe.

Maayoufi joined WALTER Surface Technologies in 1991 and has successfully contributed to the brand’s growth for over three decades. He has held several sales leadership positions in both Canada and the US and has contributed to the growth of WALTER’s family of brands.
