(Annfield Plain, County Durham, United Kingdom) announced that it has doubled the size of its head office and opened a Research and Innovation Center in Lancashire to bolster its technical and development capabilities. The company has also invested heavily in machinery, testing equipment, and a new IT system.
This Lancashire facility will enable the company’s team of technical specialists to drive innovation through formulating and testing coatings and cementitious systems for its customers, as well as further strengthen its market presence.
In addition, the company has acquired a second premises next to its head office in Country Durham, which has doubled its warehousing and production capacity. These new premises— along with its European office and warehouse facility in Heerhugowaard, Holland — forms an instrumental part of strengthening Devine Chemicals’ infrastructure and resources to its UK and EU customers.
With more than 30 years of industry experience, Devine Chemicals designs and manufacturers its own portfolio of premium specialty products in the UK. This product lineup includes DeCAL, a range of specialty additives; DeTOX, a range of titanium dioxide pigments; and DeLOUR, a range of water-based and solvent-based pigments. In 2022, the company launched AptiCem, its building and construction division which offers its clients a wide range of specialty chemicals, including lithium carbonate alternatives, admixtures, dry mortar additives, and screed additives.
