Fulkrum, a leading provider of inspection, expediting, auditing, and technical staffing to the energy industry, has announced exponential growth across its Middle East offices following a series of key appointments, new contract wins, and the incorporation of a new entity in Qatar.

According to the company, the four Middle East offices have experienced rapid growth over the last year in response to the region’s growing demand for energy and continued contract awards to local engineering contractors. As a result, the Qatar entity is strategically positioned to support its Middle East clients, enabling them to benefit from Fulkrum’s expansive network of local expertise and industry knowledge.

To support the sustained growth, Fulkrum recently promoted Usman Arshad to country manager for Saudi Arabia, bringing with him more than 12 years of quality control and business development experience across the energy, construction, and shipping industries. In that role, he is responsible for managing all ongoing and upcoming projects within the region.

According to the company, its Saudi team expanded further through the strategic hiring of Aramco-approved inspectors, coordinators, and the secondment of multiple technical specialists to long-term project assignments supporting their in-country clients. With major contracts on the horizon, Fulkrum anticipates even more rapid development there over the coming years.

Meanwhile, following a period of expansive growth, the group’s United Arab Emirates (UAE) team relocated to a larger office in Abu Dhabi. In recent months, experienced inspection and engineering professional, Affney D’Souza, joined the team as a QC [quality control] coordinator to further support the increasing demand for compliance, safety, and quality assurance across the local energy industry.

Earlier in 2022, Fulkrum announced a key appointment for its India office in the form of Wilson Chettiar, who joined the team with an extensive track record in the technical staffing sector. Following this key appointment, the India office has continued to offer its local clients turnkey vendor surveillance, technical staffing, and on-site inspection services.

With a strong track record working for industry giants across the world, as well as a series of major projects to be awarded next year, the company is projecting a record year in 2023 with exponential growth, both in the Middle East and globally.

“The growth we have seen in 2022 is incredible,” says Muhammed Tayyab, regional manager for the Middle East and Caspian. “Looking to 2023, the prospects for all our offices within the region are excellent. From continued team growth to landmark projects with major operators, we are all looking forward to the next 12 months of continued success as we support our clients with industry leading inspection, auditing, expediting, and technical staffing services.”

Established in 2011 in Corby, United Kingdom, Fulkrum has grown into a global company with a strong international footprint. With operations in the Americas, Europe and Africa, Asia-Pacific, and the Middle East, the company says it has a sustainable track record in the oil and gas, petrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, and renewables sectors, in which it offers a wide range of multi-disciplinary services.
