NDT Global (Dublin, Ireland), a leading provider of ultra-high-tech diagnostic inspection solutions for energy infrastructure assets, announced via emailed press release that Andy Bain, senior vice president of operations, will leave the company effective September 1, 2022.
Bain has been an integral part of the senior leadership team at NDT Global since 2016. During his time with the company, he has helped guide it through transformational change and played a pivotal role as a customer experience advocate.
“I believe we have become a stronger client centric company under Andy’s leadership,” says Trevor MacFarlane, president of NDT Global. “In addition, his extensive industry knowledge, expertise, and passion for excellence were essential in developing, supporting, and encouraging our teams to push operational and technical boundaries. We are very appreciative of the unwavering commitment and hard work that Andy has delivered over the last six years, and he will be missed.”
Despite leaving his post with NDT Global, Bain will not be stepping completely away from inline inspection and pipeline integrity. Rather, he will be focusing his knowledge and expertise as an independent ILI consultant. While supporting pipeline operators and industry organizations to gain the value they need from ILI, Bain will continue his efforts to raise performance standards and technology enhancements for pipeline safety.
