The newMega Rule is here, and many industry companies could soon need to expand their compliance programs.
According to the U.S. Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA) (Washington, DC, USA), the rule establishes a new category of regulated onshore gathering lines covering higher-pressure lines that pose a heightened risk in rural areas. Furthermore, it applies existing pipeline safety requirements to tens of thousands of miles of these pipelines.
In a Sept. 13 webcast, sponsored by American Innovations (Austin, Texas, USA), attendees will learn how to determine the right monitoring and compliance solutions that can drive optimal responses to the new Mega Rule expansion into more than 400,000 miles of additional onshore pipelines.
In this webcast, attendees will learn:
- How technology and digital transformation can help to expand Mega Rule compliance programs;
- What the new rule means for pipeline compliance;
- Strategies and tactics for expanding and managing compliance programs;
- What to watch out for when digitizing programs;
- What the first steps should be to get in compliance.
The webcast will be presented by Ed Kruft, CEO of American Innovations. Kruft has more than 20 years of experience in sales, marketing, and technical leadership positions, and he has been with his current company since 2010.
