In an emailed press release, specialty chemicals company The ChemQuest Group (Cincinnati, Ohio, USA) announced the addition of Julie Vaughn Biege as a director.
Vaughn Biege brings decades of experience in the specialty chemical industry to ChemQuest, having served in commercial development, marketing, innovation, strategic planning, product management, and manufacturing management. Most notably, she led corporate marketing and business development during the carve out and formation of Emerald Performance Materials, establishing the company brand and leading key business development initiatives for several of its business units.
Vaughn Biege earned a BS in Chemical Engineering and Chemistry from Carnegie-Mellon University and an MBA from Kent State University. She has authored or co-authored numerous papers for adhesives and sealants, paint and coating magazines, and conferences, has several patents/patent applications from her participation in company innovation initiatives, and has been an active member in several industry marketing committees and associations.

As director, Vaughn Biege will work with a wide array of clients in supporting ChemQuest’s four vertical offerings: business strategy and transformation; technology and application development; mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures, and manufacturing excellence.
