NDT Global Strengthens Pipeline Research Council Partnership

Together with Eddyfi/NDT, NDT Global (Dublin, Ireland) recently announced the strengthening of a partnership with global collaborative research development organization Pipeline Research Council International (PRCI) (Chantilly, Virginia, USA) to an Associate Member level.

In 2006, NDT Global joined PRCI as a Technical Program Associate member. According to the company, this affiliation has proven instrumental to its ongoing research and technology development. When acquired by Eddyfi/NDT, NDT Global identified vast opportunities available to the group by leveraging respective expertise, knowledge, missions, and values by becoming an associate member.

"At Eddyfi/NDT, we have a simple mission: push the limits of advanced technology to keep the world’s infrastructure safe and productive,” says Martin Theriault, CEO of Eddyfi/NDT. “We believe strengthening the group partnership with a community offering such a unique forum like PRCI will help us achieve this.”

Together with sister companies Dynamic Risk, Eddyfi Technologies, TSC Subsea, and Senceive, NDT Global believes it can collectively share and shape future industry visions while working to improve the longevity and safety of global energy pipeline systems. Working with industry committees like PRCI, the company says it continues to be a technology disruptor while delivering new and innovative solutions to customers through expertise, creativity, and collaboration.

“PRCI welcomes NDT Global as an Associate Member and looks forward to working together with Eddyfi/NDT as a member of the Executive Assembly,” says Cliff Johnson, president of PRCI. “It is important that all sectors of the energy pipeline industry work together to enhance pipeline safety and integrity. NDT Global’s level of membership demonstrates their commitment to continually improve inline inspection (ILI) tools and other nondestructive technologies (NDT), enabling pipeline operators and solution providers to advance the current state of ILI tools as a key part of the integrity toolbox. We must all work together to strive to zero failures for the global pipeline network, and NDT Global has a key role in that effort.”
