Webcast: How Insulation Impacts Corrosion, Energy Costs, and Carbon Goals

A total system approach, including updated specifications and the proper design, installation of materials, and maintenance of the insulation system, is essential in the fight against corrosion under insulation (CUI).

During this on-demand webcast from the National Insulation Association (NIA), viewers can learn about reducing the potential for CUI while simultaneously lowering energy costs and carbon emissions through a properly designed, installed, and maintained mechanical insulation system.

The webcast is presented by Kat Coronado, technical support manager of protective coatings for the Gulf and Latin America region at International Paint LLC, and Ron King, a past president of NIA and a consultant/subject matter expert for the group today.

In this webcast, attendees will learn:

  • How a total system approach is essential in the fight against CUI.
  • How to reduce the potential for CUI while reducing energy costs and carbon emissions.
