Specialty Chemicals Company Appoints New Vice President

The ChemQuest Group (Cincinnati, Ohio, USA), a global business strategy and external technology development firm with expertise in the specialty chemicals markets, has appointed Bradley Boelkins to the role of vice president, the company announced in an emailed press release. Boelkins joins ChemQuest after a successful 33-year career with tesa tape, inc., where he started as project manage before holding expective management positions within the company.

Before retiring from tesa tape at the end of 2021, Boelkins was a management team member and director of operations/mergers and acquisitions (M&A). In this executive role, he was responsible for North American M&A buy-side activity, along with crafting the company’s production vision, strategy, and implementation, which included oversight of production, quality, and supply chain operations.

“I very much look forward to working closely with Brad on our future buy and sell-side M&A projects,” remarks ChemQuest CEO Dan Murad. “His experience with M&A will help bolster ChemQuest’s current M&A offerings, and his extensive adhesive experience will also benefit our clients interested in that area of market specialization.”

After receiving a dual Bachelor of Arts in German and Political Science at Calvin College, Boelkins continued his pursuit of German language skills and business at the graduate level, attending the University of Michigan and the University of Salzburg. While employed at tesa, he spent three years in Hamburg, Germany as global business unit head.
