Carboline Acquires Dudick

Carboline Company (St. Louis, Missouri, USA), a global manufacturer of high-performance coatings, linings, and fireproofing products, announced its acquisition of Dudick Inc. (Streetsboro, Ohio, USA), a leading provider of high-performance coatings, floorings, and tank linings.

For more than five decades, Dudick has provided corrosion resistance and chemical containment systems solutions for food processing, steel production, chemical processing, pulp and paper, electronics, power, and biological research labs. Founded in 1947, Carboline produces high-quality performance coatings, linings, and fireproofing products in more than 20 manufacturing facilities around the world.

According to Carboline, Dudick will remain a standalone brand sold by both the existing Dudick team as well as the global Carboline direct sales team. Customers can expect to receive the same quality products and service they have become accustomed to with Dudick but with the additional benefit of more distribution points and an expanded team to better serve customers.

“We are excited to welcome the Dudick brand into the Carboline family,” says Carboline President Chris Tiernay. “This acquisition fits into our diversification strategy by giving us an expanded product portfolio in secondary containment, flooring, and water wastewater.”
