The global corrosion control and protective coatings community submitted a near-record nomination total for the Materials Performance (MP) 2023 Corrosion Innovation of the Year Awards program, for which we are pleased to announce 46 finalists.

The program provides a forum for Association for Materials Protection and Performance (AMPP) members and customers to showcase their corrosion mitigation technologies and receive recognition for their innovative solutions.
Up to 10 winners will be selected in the coming weeks by a panel of corrosion-control experts and recognized at the upcoming AMPP Annual Conference + Expo, to be held from March 19-23, 2023 in Denver, Colorado, USA.
The official ceremony to name the winners will be held on Monday, March 20, at 4:45 p.m. local time, just outside the Exhibit Hall entrance.
To be considered a corrosion innovation, nominated projects must show the potential for a significant positive impact in corrosion control. Innovations can be related to coatings and linings, materials design, instrumentation, testing, modeling/risk assessment, cathodic protection, chemical treatment, or anything else that directly relates to corrosion prevention and mitigation.
