Reasons to Attend the First AMPP Annual Conference + Expo in March

The Association for Materials Protection and Performance (AMPP) will hold its first annual conference under the association’s new name from March 6-10, 2022 in San Antonio, Texas, USA. AMPP was officially formed in 2021 as a combination of legacy organizations NACE International and SSPC: The Society for Protective Coatings.

From informative programs and workshops to exhibits and networking, this conference is designed to bring attendees the very latest information on materials, corrosion and coating trends, best practices, and products.

AMPP’s conference will be the corrosion and coatings industry’s largest event after nearly two years, offering attendees numerous opportunities to reconnect with old friends and network with industry peers. Whether you are focused on corrosion, coatings, materials, or seeing new technologies from around the world, you will find everything you need in one place.

The technical program will feature paper presentations on a wide range of corrosion and coatings topics, including corrosion management, marine corrosion, coatings failure, cathodic protection (CP), and much more.

The Expo features more than 350 companies displaying the latest in corrosion control and protective coatings. For a hands-on interactive experience, be sure to stop by the coatings experience or the CP test field in the exhibit hall. The new AMPPiTheater will feature topical presentations ranging from sustainability, data capture technology, titanium grade selection, health hazards in the coatings industry. and more.

No matter what part of the world you live in, these past two years have been challenging. We all have missed so much both personally and professionally, yet through it all our industry has been resilient. There is a lot that has happened, and a lot to catch up on.
