The Association for Materials Protection and Performance (AMPP), which was formed in 2021 as a combination of NACE International and SSPC: The Society for Protective Coatings, is inviting corrosion industry and protective coatings professionals to Phoenix, Arizona, USA, in December for the final Coatings+ conference.
With activities taking place at the Phoenix Convention Center from Dec. 13-16, 2021, Coatings+ is scheduled to offer a range of timely and valuable technical sessions; more than 150 exhibitors; training courses; and numerous networking events and activities to help attendees advance their career or business while meeting or reconnecting with industry peers.
The conference will highlight the latest in coatings technologies, inspection equipment, and professional services, and it will introduce a career fair where job seekers and employers can connect. On Dec. 13, Coatings+ will honor the recipients of this year's SSPC Individual and Structure Awards at a special celebratory awards luncheon.
As part of a robust technical program and sessions, industry experts from across the corrosion and protective coatings community will contribute via panel discussions and workshops covering topics such as coating application and inspection, fireproofing, green coatings, surface preparation, testing, and more.
Meanwhile, at the Exhibit Hall, exhibitors from the industry’s leading companies will display innovative programs, products, and resources to help coatings professionals meet a growing worldwide demand for asset protection.
For those looking to incorporate career advancement with their trip, AMPP will offer training and certification courses in conjunction with the conference. Courses will be staggered throughout the week prior to Coatings+ to allow students plenty of time to complete their course requirements and still attend the conference, visit exhibits, and network with industry peers.
In 2022, AMPP will deliver a new annual conference bringing together the best of SSPC’s Coatings+ conference and the best of NACE International’s CORROSION conference. Until that much-anticipated event, AMPP officials say they are pulling out all the stops to ensure that the last Coatings+ is one to remember.
