Corrosion protection company DEKOTEC GmbH (Leverkusen, Germany) announced that Luc Perrad, 53, is taking over from Michael Schad as director of international sales. Schad, 63, is retiring after 36 years of service.
Having worked in various sales roles, Schad has been responsible for the successful development of the company’s international sales since 2012. In the course of his work, he contributed his extensive knowledge to well-known committees and international associations.
Perrad has worked for DEKOTEC GmbH as an area sales manager since 2019. A Belgian citizen, he speaks French and English, has many years of international experience in corrosion protection, and is a NACE-certified Level 2 Coating Inspector. In his new role, he will focus on further growth for the business and opening up new markets.

Perrad brings more than 20 years of global technical sales experience and extensive consulting expertise with regards to corrosion protection for pipelines. A qualified engineer, he recently advised companies on the introduction of a new coating system throughout Europe.
Previously, he worked in management positions on various projects, including Berry Global pipeline projects in France, Africa, and northern regions of the Middle East.
