The global corrosion control community submitted a near-record nomination total for the Materials Performance (MP) 2021 Corrosion Innovation of the Year Awards program, for which we are pleased to announce 40 finalists. The complete list of 2021 finalists can be accessed here, along with full descriptions of each innovation.
The program provides a forum for Association for Materials Protection and Performance (AMPP) members and customers to showcase their corrosion mitigation technologies and receive recognition for their innovative solutions.
Winners will be selected in the coming weeks by a panel of corrosion-control experts and recognized at the CORROSION 2021 Virtual Conference & Expo, to be held from April 19-30, 2021.
To be considered a corrosion innovation, nominated projects must show the potential for a significant positive impact in corrosion control.
Innovations can be related to coatings and linings, materials design, instrumentation, testing, modeling/risk assessment, cathodic protection, chemical treatment, or anything else that directly relates to corrosion prevention and mitigation.
