ICR Integrity (ICR) (Aberdeen, United Kingdom), described as a global industrial maintenance and integrity company that provides solutions for the oil and gas, power generation, defense, utilities, and renewables industries, was awarded a three-year contract with Shell UK, with extension options.

The contract, which did not disclose a value, is for the provision of Technowrap engineered composite repairs and Quickflange weldless connectors for all of Shell’s UKCS (U.K. continental shelf) assets.

Following a competitive tender process, the award comes after ICR had completed a similar contract for Shell over the past three years. According to the company, it is a testament to the standard and quality of work already done.

“This renewal win, especially with the addition of Quickflange, demonstrates the relationship we have with Shell, as well the internationally recognized quality of the products and services we offer,” says Scott Byers, Technowrap key account manager at ICR. “Both Technowrap and Quickflange are industry approved and qualified to several type standards and are proven in improving pipeline integrity and flow assurance, which is imperative to Shell.”

ICR operates in global locations with operational bases in the United Kingdom, Norway, Abu Dhabi, United States, and Australia. It also has partners in over 25 countries worldwide.
