CIC Coatings (McKinney, Texas, USA), a manufacturer and distributor of American-made high-performance wood and metal coatings, announced the appointment of Jeff Takac as vice president of sales for North America. Takac, who now heads the company’s Centurion Interior Architectural Wood Coatings business initiatives, will be responsible for developing marketing functions and building strategic customer partnerships in the United States and Canada.
Takac has more than 20 years of experience in the coatings and wood finishes industries, including senior leadership positions at IVM Chemicals, Valspar, and Sherwin-Williams. According to the company, Takac will be relocating to the Dallas, Texas area where its corporate headquarters are located.
