Data analysis provider NDT Global (Dublin, Ireland), described as a leading supplier of ultrasonic inline inspection (ILI) and integrity services, recently announced 1,000,000 hours without a recordable injury.

The company says it has developed a global safety culture by taking a proactive and preventive approach to safety, as well as encouraging employees to identify and report potential hazards and implementing a “stop work” policy if unsafe to continue.

“We are delighted to announce that we have reached the significant safety milestone of achieving one million working hours globally without a recordable injury,” says Niall Walsh, head of health, safety, environment, and quality (HSEQ) for NDT Global. “This is equivalent to 17 months without a recordable injury and is a testament to our strong safety culture and continuous improvement in safety, which we believe are key elements to success.”

The company says it is committed to safely operating its facilities and delivering customer inspection projects via safe-work systems and programs such as the “9 Life Saving Rules”; “See It-Own It-Share It”; and “Employee Safety Recognition.”

“We continue to identify keyways to improve our safety program and culture to ensure all employees go home healthy and safe every day,” Walsh adds.
