Total Specialties USA (Houston, Texas, USA) announced the addition of four new employees to its marketing and services division lubricants team. Two of the new additions—Stephen Mammino and Trevor Demara—are internal promotions, while the other two—Paola Monroy and Daniel Gomes—are new hires.
According to the company, Mammino has been promoted to the division’s industrial territorial manager with Demara its market and PMCO segment analyst. In addition, Monroy has joined the company as a marketing analyst and Gomes as a marketing intern.
“We are thrilled to welcome the best and brightest talent to our team, and to recognize those who have already positively contributed to our organization by expanding their current roles,” say Franck Bagouet, senior vice president of lubricants for Total. “During these unprecedented times, Total looks forward to the continued growth and profitability of the USA affiliate by leveraging the industry talent.”
Mammino has worked for Total for seven years and has more than 15 years of lubrication industry experience. In his new position within the recently created US industry sales group, Mammino’s duties will include managing industrial lubricant accounts and growing the company’s client base throughout the Northeast and New England regions. “I look forward to continue partnering with Total’s clients to troubleshoot any issues they encounter and help them implement maintenance procedures that will maximize efficiencies,” he says.
A former Total marketing intern, Demara will now support the lubricants group at the company’s Houston-based headquarters. He offers expertise in various industry sectors within the lubricants industry, and also holds previous experience in the oilfield equipment, technology, and healthcare sectors. “I am very energized with my new role,” says Demara. “I look forward to the challenge of expanding the TOTAL QUARTZ brand in the USA, as well as strengthening our motorsports partnerships.”
Monroy and Gomes will be based in Total’s Linden, New Jersey technical headquarters and blending facility. Monroy brings more than seven years of social media, communication, and advertising experience to Total. In her new role, Monroy will be responsible for much of the content on the digital and traditional marketing platforms for Total Lubricant USA. “I am excited to begin my energy career with Total,” she said. “I look forward to being part of the many opportunities in the USA as part of the marketing team.”
Gomes, a recent graduate of Seton Hall University, will step into a role that spans all areas of marketing and sales support, serving as an entry platform for future growth opportunities within the company. “This opportunity is a perfect platform for me to begin my career in the lubricant sector of the energy industry,” says Gomes. “I look forward to applying the marketing knowledge that I gained at college and learning from industry experts as I begin my career.”
