McLaren COO Earns “Tribute to Women of INfluence” Award

Donna Brangaccio, chief operating officer (COO) for civil engineering firm McLaren Engineering Group (Woodcliff Lake, New Jersey, USA), was recently presented with a “Tribute to Women of INfluence” (TWIN) award at an empowerment event hosted by YMCA Northern New Jersey (Hackensack, New Jersey, USA). The TWIN award recognizes accomplished women who have enjoyed success in their chosen fields and made significant contributions to their organizations and communities.

As COO and senior vice president of operations, Brangaccio manages McLaren’s strategic initiatives and is responsible for daily operations, financial performance, and safety for the firm’s 250 employees, 11 locations, and seven technical divisions. Brangaccio began her career with McLaren in 1994 as a staff accountant and has steadily risen up the ranks in the employee-owned firm to her current position overseen the company’s global operations.

“During her 25-year career with the firm, Donna has helped McLaren grow into an industry leader in the competitive AEC landscape,” says McLaren Chief Executive officer Malcolm G. McLaren. “She has always inspired us to push further, achieve more and has enabled us to cultivate a culture of success.”

In addition to her leadership role at the firm, Brangaccio is also a member of McLaren’s Women’s Leadership Committee, among several other committees, and is renowned for creating operations strategy and policy. Moreover, her ability to foster employee alignment with corporate goals and create a proactive, team-player workplace environment have been tentpoles in her tenure as McLaren COO.
