NACE International Unveils Corrosion Under Insulation Training Course

NACE International has launched Corrosion Under Insulation (CUI) as its newest training course, to be held from November 18-21, 2019, at the Elcometer Training Center in Houston, Texas, USA.

The course is designed to equip students with the skills required to tackle the widespread problem of corrosion under insulation (CUI), which occurs when moisture builds up on the external surface of insulated equipment. According to NACE officials, CUI has become one of the most prevalent issues within the chemical/petrochemical, refining, offshore, and marine/maritime industries.

The four-day training course includes an interactive classroom format comprised of lecture; group discussion; case studies; hands-on activities; and a full-color training manual complete with job aids, checklists, and templates for on-the-job use.

For the first public offering of the course, NACE is currently offering 50% off the registration fee while space lasts. For more information, visit NACE’s Education web page.
