Sulzer Mixpac USA, Inc. (Sugar Land, Texas, USA), a division of Sulzer Ltd., announced the Mixpac MixCoat Manual as the latest addition to its line of adhesive dispensing systems.

This cartridge-based, two-component system has several practical applications for individuals working in the offshore oil and gas, petrochemical, marine, and bridge repair industries. For example, it can provide stripe coating to rail car exteriors or 100% solid epoxy linings for tanker cars.

Featuring a lightweight design with a unique brush assembly on a manual dispenser, it is flexible enough to be used in tight spaces and inaccessible areas such as ship bilges and pipelines. Whether grounded or wall mounted, the dispenser emits a low-pressure spray that can be utilized while working with various spray applications.

The components are kept separate until forced through the static mixer, thereby minimizing waste from unused coating. As a result, this cartridge-based system does not require mixing equipment to provide excellent mixing performance and improved ratio control.

The Manual model can be used with cartridges in 1:1, 2:1, 3:1, and 4:1 ratios, and ranges from 1500 mL to 940 mL.
