Epoxytec International Inc. (Hollywood, Florida, USA) released its Cladliner line of products designed to protect and restore manholes and other sewer assets.

These manhole lining systems can be applied like a standard cementitious liner while also providing the resistance properties of a high-build epoxy liner. Due to their next generation epoxy composition, these systems have a high degree of chemical resistance that allows them to perform in conditions with a pH of 1 or less. They offer over 250 times the chemical resistance of calcium aluminate cements and are 200 times more chemically resistant than pure fused calcium aluminates.

In addition, they are durable enough to protect concrete and brick structures from corrosion caused by acid, hydrogen sulfide (H2S), and inflow and infiltration.

The products contain a broad-spectrum antimicrobial additive that eliminates bacteria, mold, and other microbes by halting the exchange of key nutrients into their outer membranes.

Through its Cladliner brand, Epoxytec offers other hybrid epoxy products: Cladseal for sealing and protecting chimneys; Cladstop 1 and Cladstop 3 for patching and containing water leaks; and Cladrestore for repairing and restoring severely deteriorated structures.
