Ultrasonic pipeline inspection and data analysis provider NDT Global (Dublin, Ireland) announced the successful ISO 9001:2015 transition of its office in Stutensee, Germany. ISO is an independent, non-governmental international organization with a membership of 161 national standards bodies.

The standard certifies that DNV GL (Oslo, Norway) approved NDT’s quality management systems for the design and construction of pipeline inspection systems, as well as the planning and execution of pipeline inspections to include data analysis and assessment of results.

The ISO 9000 family addresses various aspects of quality management and contains some of ISO’s best-known standards. These provide guidance and tools for companies and organizations who want to ensure that their products and services consistently meet customer requirements, and that quality is consistently improved.

“Across all our facilities, we continue to make a huge effort to achieve a unified global quality management system and are successfully transitioning to the new standard,” says global quality manager Michael Barthelmess.

“We place large emphases on our core values, [which] describe our technology, our services, and our approach to the tasks we perform. They serve as guiding principles for our employees and are integral to everything we do,” he adds.
